Julia Roberts has been at Hollywood’s forefront for over three decades. She is best known for her roles in Pretty Woman, Erin Brockovich and Notting Hill.
Roberts was a major player in Hollywood but she now lives a quieter, more private life.
The Oscar-winner has three children with Danny Moder and is married for 19 years.
It seems that Roberts’ oldest daughter Hazel may be following her mother’s lead, as she accompanied her father on the red carpet of the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.
Hazel and her father Danny walked the red carpet to Flag Day’s premiere. Danny was a cinematographer for the Sean Penn-directed film.
The 16-year old wore her hair up in a ponytail and a floral shirt dress with lace florals that had a lemon hue to it for the occasion.
Moder is a cinematographer who has previously worked on films such as Secret In Their Eyes, starring Chiwetel Elofor and Keira Knightley, and 2001’s The Mexican in which Roberts, his now-wife, starred alongside Brad Pitt. Moder received an Emmy nomination for his cinematography in The Normal Heart’s TV series in 2014.
Roberts, his second wife, was a film he shot while filming The Mexican. Roberts’ ranch in New Mexico was where they were married in 2002. People news reported that 60 people were initially misled into believing they were going to a weekend getaway. The wedding ceremony was a surprise. Roberts was reportedly wearing a light pink halter gown embroidered with pearls, while Moder wore a red shirt.
Roberts shared an unusual photograph earlier this month of her and her husband on the beach to celebrate their 19th anniversary.
Moder shared a throwback photo from before they were married. He wrote a sweet caption, “This photo was taken on a dusty road prior to that big idea… Just holding on to this beautiful little girl one day at time.” One day at a.m.
The couple has three children, now that they are approaching 20 years of marriage.
Roberts and Moder welcomed twins in 2004 – a boy, and a girl. They arrived a month earlier than expected and were named Phinnaeus and Hazel Patricia.
The couple had their third child in 2007, a boy named Henry Daniel Moder.
Roberts spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about her understanding of the fame and fortune of her mother in 2018.
She explained that she doesn’t believe they will ever feel this way. It was once when they were just starting to understand it that it was like, “You’re famous?” “Once when they were trying to figure it out, it was like, “You’re famous?” I replied, “I think a lot people might have seen the film that I’m playing or may know who I am.” It might take an hour. “Are you more well-known than Taylor Swift?”
