Anne Hathaway made several stylish appearances at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her film, Armageddon Time. The actress put together the perfect Riviera wardrobe in partnership with Erin Walsh, and she did it all, including daywear, dinners, photocalls, premieres, and even nightwear.
Her glamorous eveningwear and red-carpet looks are some of her most memorable (more later), but it was her daytime fashions that were particularly inspirational, with lots of stylish summer style to copy.
First, she arrived at Nice airport in effortless slouchy tailoring. She paired the black suit with a casual white shirt, white trainers, sunglasses, and a white T-shirt.
Then, she gave her first official appearance a splash of colour by stepping out wearing a floral metallic Schiaparelli one-piece and a bouncing bob-dye.
The actress was seen in elegant daywear on the Croisette while she was in South France. While on a stroll with Adam Shulman she paired her lemon-hued mules, cropped jeans, a Self Portrait cardigan and a Bulgari handbag with her Bulgari bag.
Hathaway was later seen styling the shoes with wide-leg jeans, classic white shirts, and a crochet bucket beanie.
Another appearance was made by the actress in a zip front tweed dress with leather trim. Her dress was paired with wide-framed sunglasses and nude court shoes. She also wore a Bulgari handbag.
For more formal appearances, the 39 year-old turned to brands like Valentino, Gucci and Armani Prive.
The Armageddon Time photocall saw her wearing a Gucci mini-dress with a backless Gucci dress, silver platform heels, Bulgari jewellery, and statement cat eye sunnies. The dress had a heavily embellished skirt and featured patent leather cups, straps and straps. Her look was finished with a beehived, half-up and half-down ‘do.
The actress knows that only haute couture can be worn for large red-carpet moments. The Armageddon Time premiere saw her wear a sparkling Armani Prive dress with satin wrap and a train. Bulgari’s unique necklace, which contained a rare, 107,15-carat cushion cut Sri Lankan sapphire and a matching, one-of-a kind ring, was also added.
And she didn’t stop there. Hathaway was still able to attend one more dinner, so she turned to Valentino to wear one of the most popular hot-pink pieces in the brand’s newest collection. The jumpsuit was off-the shoulder and she wore matching platform heels with soft pink lipstick.
