Since then, he has become one of the youngest billionaires in the world and continues to be an influential figure in technology.

Zuckerberg was born on May 14th 1984 in White Plains, New York. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy before enrolling at Harvard University where he studied computer science. During his time at Harvard he created FaceMash which later became Facebook with fellow students Eduardo Saverin Andrew McCollum Dustin Moskowitz Robin Reed Chris Hughes while they were all still undergraduates. After leaving university Zuckerberg worked briefly for Microsoft before starting his own business with some money from his parents’ divorce settlement which was worth $500 million at the time (more than enough to fund your own startup). This company was called Thefacebook which grew rapidly during its first few years until it was sold publicly for $1 billion dollars in February 2005 making its founder one of America’s youngest billionaires overnight!

During his time at Harvard, Zuckerberg became fascinated with the idea of creating an online community for students. He began writing code for a social networking site called Facemash, which allowed users to compare students’ photos side-by-side and rate them on their physical appearance. This quickly became popular among users of Harvard’s network, but was shut down several days later because it violated Harvard’s terms of use. In February 2004, Zuckerberg launched Thefacebook, which initially served as a social networking site for Harvard students and then expanded to other colleges in the Boston area before expanding further across the United States and eventually worldwide. In 2005, the company changed its name to Facebook.

Mark Zuckerberg is a computer programmer and entrepreneur best known for founding and leading Facebook, a social networking site that allows users to connect with friends, family members, and coworkers online. He attended Harvard University, where he met fellow student Eduardo Saverin. In February 2004, Zuckerberg launched Thefacebook at Harvard. The website was initially intended to be used by Harvard students only but soon expanded to other colleges in the Boston area before expanding further across North America and eventually worldwide. In 2005, it changed its name from “Thefacebook” to simply “Facebook.”

Zuckerberg’s programming skills were first noticed when he built a program called “FaceMash” during his sophomore year at Harvard University that allowed users of the university’s network access only (it wasn’t accessible off campus) compare photos side-by-side and rate them on their physical attractiveness. Within two days of launching Facemash at Harvard in November 2003 — which was shut down due to violating university policy shortly after launch date — Zuckerberg created another program called “Justin Timberlake or Jimmy Fallon?,” which allowed users  to choose between pictures of celebrities Justin Timberlake or Jimmy Fallon with the goal being determining whether they were more attractive than each other based on user feedback provided through votes within Facebook itself rather than externally via email addresses like Facemash did previously

    Conclusion

Zuckerberg has taken a whole different approach in maintaining his wealth. He may not be flashing it around like some other billionaires do, but he is still living the life of luxury. There are some similarities between Zuckerberg and Bezos, they both have a love for travel and they spend their money on charitable causes.
