    Dolce &Gabbana made millions off Kourtney Kardashian Travis Barker’s wedding

    Dolce & Gabbana were the top winners at Travis Barker & Kourtney Kardashian’s lavish wedding in Italy.

    The Italian luxury label stamped its mark on the couple’s Portofino nuptials. They spent their time on the yacht of the designers and exchanged “I dos” at Villa Olivetta. Guests were also transported to and fro by boats upholstered using the house’s signature prints.

    Dolce & Gabbana outfitted more than just the groom and bride, but also the entire Kardashian/Jenner family.

    Dolce & Gabbana was quick to deny that it sponsored the festivities. A rep for Dolce & Gabbana told Page Six Style that “the designers were very happy to host this special occasion.” According to Launchmetrics brand performance firm Launchmetrics the company has already received $25.4 million in media influence value. That’s more than half what the $47 million event generated.

    For Kourtney & Travis’ welcome dinner, the Kardashian-Jenner entire family wore Dolce & Gabbana.

    “Media Impact Value is how we assign brand performance a monetary value. It calculates each post, every interaction and every article,” Launchmetrics CMO Alison Bringe told us. She added that although these numbers have been “super preliminary” and will only grow over time as Kravis’ wedding approaches, they are “super preliminary”.

    “It’s a crazy amount [or so] of media impact worth for the first 24 hours,” she states. She points out Nick Jonas’ 2018 nuptials to India, which spanned several days and included endless outfit changes.

    “When we measured [their] wedding at a peak point, it had $91 million,” Bringe adds. Ralph Lauren also contributed almost $22million to that amount by dressing Chopra & Jonas in Ralph Lauren’s ceremony dress — a figure Dolce & Gabbana is already exceeding with the Kravis nuptials.

    Kris Jenner and Kylie Jenner spent time on Dolce & Gabbana’s yacht Fatima with little Stormi while in town for their wedding — all dressed up in Dolce.

    This is due in large part to the famed family’s incredible social media presence. The Kardashian-Jenners now have over 1.2 billion Instagram followers. The Kardashian family’s first television show is very attractive to fashion companies, thanks to the constant stream of press coverage surrounding every Kardashian public post or outing.

    Or at least fashion brands who aren’t afraid to stir up some controversy. After all, their followers and fans have been accused of everything: cultural appropriation, fake wealth, perpetuating unattainable standards in beauty, even the Kravis wedding. Dolce & Gabbana might be the perfect partner for them in that way.

    The label’s eponymous designer has faced several scandals. In 2015, they made offensive remarks regarding gay adoption and IVF — which is the exact fertility treatment Travis and Kourtney are currently using to increase their family size — before later recanting their “inappropriate” comments.

    Dolce & Gabbana debuted a racially-insensitive video ad in 2018, just before its fashion show in Shanghai, which was later canceled.

    Dolce & Gabbana, like the Kardashians, can’t be canceled. The label continues to have a strong presence at the red carpet dressing stars for the 2022 Oscars. Grammys. Met Gala.

    It now hosts one of Hollywood’s biggest celebrity weddings, even though Stefano Gabbana was once called the “most cheap person in the world”.

    He could have changed his minds for millions of reasons.
